Meet our Women’s Health Dietitian and say goodbye to yo yo dieting for good!

Introducing Carlia Lozo, Welcome to Wellbeing.

One of the many reasons that I’m so excited about working with Carlia is because I can see how SO MANY women would benefit from what she offers.  In today’s image conscious society we’re constantly sold this idea of so called “perfection”.  If any of you are on social media, Instagram I’m looking at you! You’ll be familiar with these images of shiny, glowing women living on green juice and never allowing a touch of sugar to pass their lips.  Sorry, but I call BS, who lives like this really? Personally,  I’d rather have some wobbly bits than a life without cake.
So, what makes Welcome to Wellbeing so different?  Well, just imagine, NO MORE DIETING, yes you read that correctly.  Instead, learning to love yourself, and understanding WHY you’re eating the way you do.  Being empowered to work WITH your body and your emotions and learning to break the cycle of emotional eating and yo yo dieting.

Excited yet? You should be.  This is a revolutionary way of thinking in an emerging field of study, which is already showing promising results. Throw away the scales ladies, this is the future!

So let’s hear from the lovely lady herself:

Hi, I’m Carlia Lozo and I’m the Principle Dietitian and Founder of Welcome to Wellbeing, a speciality clinic for women just like you, struggling with weight and eating concerns. We provide nutrition and eating behaviour counselling to women who struggle with comfort eating, binge eating, and have a history of yo-yo dieting or weight cycling.

At W2W our nutrition and eating philosophy takes a Health at Every Size®approach (non-diet approach) to weight management, focusing on health and wellbeing. We work within the “non-dieting” approach to weight management and we’re proud members of the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH) and The Center for Mindful Eating (TCME).

We offer Individual Consultations and Group Workshops designed to inspire and empower you to have a healthier relationship with food, be active and feel more comfortable in your body. Our group workshops cover a range of topics including normalising eating, hunger/fullness awareness training, mindful eating and dealing with binge foods.

You can expect a safe, supportive and warm environment to enable and inspire you to become actively involved in establishing goals, problem solving and creating personalised action plans.

If this resonates with you in anyway, or you know of someone who is struggling.   Why not book in for a chat and see how we can help.

Carlia is available on Fridays at the clinic.  Check out here website here for more information on the amazing work that she does with women just like you, or give her a ring on 0432 714 128.
